7-05-07 This question comes from Leo who we met in Indiana at
Putnam Park and recently E-M'd me. He asks.... What do you use to
keep your car so clean?

Well Leo, allot of elbow grease. lol We use various products, but
mostly brand name stuff. Mothers FX speed detailer is what we use
most of the time with a micro fibre cloth.
We've tried everything and this detailer leaves
the car clean and smooth to the touch. Your gonna
laugh but it also is the best window cleaner I've used.
It doesn't get the dead bugs off very well but leaves
the windows streak free. We use it on the inside of the
window as well. Hope this answers your question.

8-17-07 This question comes from Jim who we met in WI. @ Road
America. He asked.... What kind of tire we use? How long will they
last? and what kind of maintenance do you do to them if any?

Jim, we use the Nitto NT-01. It is a DOT approved R (racing)
compound tire with a UTQG rating of 100. Which means its a soft
sticky tire basically for track use only but could be legally driven on the
street. We'll go through 2 sets of these this season. After every session
we look at the tires to check for wear and if we need to rotate them.
At a 2 day event, we typically rotate the tires side to side for the 2nd
day. When we get home the tires will come off the car and get cleaned.
Then we inspect the tire and if needed we will take them to our sponsor
Community Pontiac GMC and they will flip the tire over and remount it
for even wear and longevity.
