ROAD AMERICA APRIL 2008
MFBA EVENT
4-16-08     Sorry it's been so long since the last posting but we've been very busy as of late and are still trying to
finish the car up.  We ran at Road America with MFBA last weekend to shake the car down.  It felt good to be behind
the wheel of the GTO again.  We had a few issues.  I couldn't seem to get the video camera working so no videos,
sorry.  Pat was sick so she wasn't at the track much and didn't get very many pics.  The GTO ran very well with the
exception of the strut top bearings.  One failed and instead of the strut turning on the bearing it was turning on the
spring.  As of today we've replaced both bearings and all seems well.

Saturday was a very windy snowy wet cold day.  I was instructing all day so the only time I drove the GTO was in the
parade lap.










Sunday was much better.  We still had wind but it was about 45* and mostly sunny.  I finally got onto the track and the
car felt very good!!!  There were a few other GTO's there too.  There was another Torrid red GTO but I didn't get a
chance to get any pics of him.











And as always, someone hit the wall.  It could happen to anybody.












My favorite car was this Mustang.  I believe it is a One Lap of America car.
